Natural Language (Edit Only)

You can no longer create a new Natural Language interaction in IAT. These instructions apply only to editing existing Natural Language interactions.

Natural Language interactions require students to type a response in a text field. Natural Language interactions are scored by a machine rubric that analyzes the student's response to identify variations of acceptable key words and phrases.

The Natural Language interaction appears similar to the Simple Text Entry interaction (Figure 162), and differences between the two interactions are only observable on the back end.
